“Can you tell me, very roughly what your family finances look like?” “Heh! And as for the Family fortune, it’s is well invested, and with my son’s eye on it, highly unlikely to be ‘squandered’ like their father gambled away their mother’s dowry and their birth gifts.” “That my grand nephews are one hundred and eight and one hundred and four years old, related through my third sister’s oldest daughter are going on at least second hand, and more likely third hand gossip, as I have neither seen or spoken to then for two years.” “My great uncle, Lord Boris, at one hundred and sixty years of age is rapidly declining in mental acuity, and we wish to take control of the Family before he destroys the Family fortune.” Lord Evgeny sat up as straight as he could.
“Detective Inspector Rodolph Boris Smirnov.” Will you please all introduce yourselves?” he gestured to his left. “I am Senior Inquisitor Grigory Gorbachev. Erich gestured the Smirnovs to the two chairs on directly opposite him, and the complainants to the right. The Senior Inquisitor took the central chair on the far side. Erich opened the door to the small conference room and stepped back. How interesting.” He waved for Arnold to precede him. The Senior Inquisitor paused for a moment. The complainant has not yet,” a glance over his shoulder, “has just arrived.” His secretary, a highly capable older Exec, tapped at the door. And I understand entirely your need to stand apart from a serious Founding Family issue.” The goal is to get control of his son, who is highly competent but only thirty-nine years old.”Īnother shrug from his Senior. Not that Lord Boris isn’t eccentric, but he’s no danger to anyone. They didn’t want to be bothered by an issue as apparently minor as a Head of Family being officially assessed for competence.”Īrnold nodded. Office politics and one-up-manship in the Inquisition office there. Orion had already passed your request to Regulus to deal with it, and they sent me. “Your request came in as I was passing through Regulus on my way to the Citadel. Senior Inquisitor Grigory Gorbachev shrugged. I hadn’t expected a man who’d served in the Citadel.
6.“I really appreciate your coming, sir.” Inquisitor Arnold Mikhailov shifted nervously. 6.7K Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition. 403 Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition. 88 Persistent Worlds & Multiplayer for NWN (not EE). 391 Custom Content & Community Exp Pack. I just usually tend to assume that half-elves in games have a direct human and elven parent, and so the elvish features tend to be much more pronounced in such characters. According to the rules, even a half-elf with a distant elven ancestor still counts as being of elf-blood for the purposes of in-game spells/magic items, so you're right, there's still plenty of leeway for the lady to be a half-elf if one so chooses. If you're keen on the idea of having a short sword/shield wielding Fighter, then by all means go for it, but I just thought I'd point out that many warriors do keep a dagger as a backup weapon for close-quarters fighting and since the picture is cropped, she could have another main weapon that's out of A fair point. Real daggers are actually a lot bigger than most people imagine them to be, having a minimum of a foot-long blade (anything short than that is basically just a kitchen knife). That looks like a one-handed weapon grip, and it could actually be a dagger rather than a short sword. Not sure this helps at all, but there you go, some random rambling thoughts Her breast plate has some kind of insigna, perhaps she belongs to some kind of order of wizard slayers on the hunt for rogue necromancers, hehe. So that kinda leaves basic fighter or maybe a wizard slayer. The medium armor rather than steel plate armor of the more classic paladin etc, signals barbarian. Unfortunately this kinda applies to barbarian rage too, otherwise I am leaning towards Barb. I wouldn't say Berzerker, she looks a bit to neat for someone going berzerk. She has a small shield (by BG's categories) and a short sword, which kinda feels a bit less tanky warrior-esque and more F/T though. The armor looks to heavy for sneaking (from an RP POV I mean). It doesn't look like elven chainmail, thus I would not consider her a F/T. Could be a halfplate, but I would probably lean towards Medium armor category. Looks like chainmail under a steel curiass/breastplate with some kind of leather/iron plated shoulder guards. I'd say human, but could be HE too since she's obviously very beautiful.
